Daniel Liedtke, address and email as given in the imprint.
What this website does with your data
This is a static website. It has no contact form, no user accounts, no comments, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. It does not store anything on your device: no cookies, no local storage. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties, so your browser contacts no one else when you open a page. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Workers). Every request to a page passes through Cloudflare's network. In doing so, Cloudflare receives and processes technical data that your browser sends anyway: your IP address, the date and time, the requested address, the HTTP headers (such as browser type, language and referrer) and the approximate location derived from your IP address. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the page from a nearby server, to protect the site against attacks and abuse, and to keep the service running. Cloudflare Web Analytics and other visitor statistics are switched off, so I receive no information about who visits.
Legal basis: my legitimate interest in a secure, fast and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Without this processing the website could not be delivered; you are not required to provide any data, but you cannot use the site without your browser transmitting it. Cloudflare processes the data on my behalf under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare may process data in the USA and other countries outside the EU. For this, it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare keeps the data only as long as needed for these purposes, according to its own retention rules. I do not have access to individual visitors' logs and do not evaluate them.
Cloudflare may in rare cases set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example to tell humans from bots when it detects an attack). Such a cookie is not used for tracking and is exempt from consent under § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. More information is in Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Contacting me by email
If you write to hello@danielliedtke.de, I process your message and address to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) if it concerns a job or contract). Email is not end-to-end encrypted by default, so please do not send sensitive data unprotected. The address is served by Cloudflare Email Routing: Cloudflare receives your message on its servers and forwards it to my personal mailbox, which is run by another email provider. Both therefore process your message, your address and the technical email data (sender, recipient, time, subject) on my behalf, under the same legal basis and transfer safeguards as described under hosting. Cloudflare does not keep a mailbox for me; it only forwards and may log delivery data. I delete it when the matter is finished, unless the law requires me to keep it.
Links to other sites
The LinkedIn link leaves this website. Nothing is sent to LinkedIn until you click it. After that, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies, and LinkedIn is responsible for what it does with your data.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to hello@danielliedtke.de. You can also complain to a data protection authority. For Bavaria, this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA) in Ansbach.
I may update this notice when the website or the law changes. The current version is always the one on this page.
